The company delivers turnkey solutions for device characterization, reliability testing and electrical failure analysis through a global network of qualified partners.
Project contribution
As part of 14AMI, IMINA is developing a new generation of SEM‑compatible nanoprobers designed to locate defects on ever‑smaller semiconductor nodes with greater speed and accuracy. It combines hardware and software advances to improve probe positioning and motion stability, and to enable automation features that increase measurement yield.
IMINA’s work includes closed‑loop control, novel piezoelectric actuators offering extended sub‑nanometric travel, and tailored e‑beam failure‑analysis hardware and software to simplify SEM and EFA image interpretation. AI‑powered robotic control algorithms are being developed to assist operators with probe placement, increasing success rates and measurement quality while reducing operator workload.
